I loved working at Lagoon Amusement Park for two years! I danced in Big Top 2 and Smoke & Mirrors in two consecutive summer seasons, and told stories with Windy the Witch over Halloween, performing in a solo show for kids. In the summer shows, I was pushed to learn new skills, such as knife flipping and magic assistance: though a magician(‘s dancer) never reveals her secrets! Over one Halloween season, I was also asked to swing for Hackenslash, the pro-dancer show at the park! Talk about talented coworkers! My favorite moments were definitely improv-ing while “hanging out with” Windy. The kids were so cute and always excited to meet a witch!
