I loved originating the role of Janey Laskowitz in The Fork at the Hive Collaborative this summer! Thank you to Ken and Dennis Agle as well as Aaron Edson for such a silly, sweet character! One of my favorite moments in the process was being handed my solo song for the first time a mere four days before opening night. That’s new play development for you, things are always changing and it’s so exciting to see a play grow even in the final days. This song was definitely one of those exciting changes, we brought down the house every night!
Janey is all about helping others, whether it be through her regular plant business or her eccentric life coaching, and I loved getting to find the perfect balance of well-meaning and chaotic for this gal.
